Once you get in touch, we’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your book project in detail. During this conversation, we’ll ask about your manuscript: What’s it about? Who’s your target audience? What stage are you at? Do you have a complete draft or just an outline? We’ll also discuss your publishing goals: Are you looking to self-publish with full creative control, or do you want our team to handle everything? Based on your needs and budget, we’ll recommend the best publishing package for you and explain exactly what’s included. This consultation is completely free and there’s no obligation. We’ll answer all your questions honestly and give you a clear picture of what the publishing journey looks like, realistic timelines, and what you can expect at each stage.
Once we begin working together, our team helps bring your book to life exactly how you envision it. If you need writing support, our ghostwriters and content developers can help structure your ideas, develop chapters, or even write the entire manuscript based on your vision and input. If you already have a draft, our editors step in to refine it, checking grammar, improving flow, strengthening narrative structure, and making sure your voice comes through clearly. When your manuscript is complete and approved, it moves to our proofreading and formatting team for the final polish. Our proofreaders carefully read through your entire book one last time, catching any remaining typos, grammatical errors, or inconsistencies that might have slipped through earlier rounds. This is the final quality check before formatting begins. Once proofreading is done, our formatting specialists take over. We format your book professionally for whichever format you need: paperback, hardcover, ebook (EPUB format for most ereaders), Kindle (MOBI format), PDF, or audiobook scripts. Each format has specific technical requirements, margins, font sizes, chapter breaks, page numbers, and we handle all of that according to industry standards. You’ll receive formatted samples to review, and if anything needs adjusting (spacing, fonts, layout), we’ll make those changes. The goal is a book that looks clean, professional, and easy to read in whatever format your readers prefer.
With your book’s interior finalized, we move to designing a cover that grabs attention and represents your story perfectly. Our design team will create multiple cover design samples based on your book’s genre, themes, and target audience. You’ll get to review these samples and choose your favorite, or if you already have design ideas, mood boards, or specific imagery in mind, you can share them with us and we’ll bring your vision to life. We design covers using professional software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, the same tools used by major publishing houses. We’ll create covers in the correct dimensions and formats for both print and digital: high-resolution files for paperback/hardcover printing, and optimized versions for online retailers like Amazon, where your cover thumbnail needs to stand out in search results. We also design the spine and back cover, including your book description, author bio, barcode, and ISBN. You’ll get multiple revision rounds until the cover is exactly what you want.
This is the moment everything comes together, your book officially becomes published. We handle all the technical aspects of publication so you don’t have to worry about the complicated stuff. First, we register your book with an ISBN (International Standard Book Number), which is essentially your book’s unique identifier required for distribution and sales tracking. We also register your copyright, create the necessary legal pages (copyright notice, disclaimer, etc.), and set up your book’s metadata (title, author name, description, keywords, categories) on publishing platforms. We publish through major platforms including Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing), IngramSpark for wider distribution, and Apple Books if you want ebook distribution through the Apple ecosystem. You decide whether you want print-on-demand (books are printed as orders come in) or offset printing (bulk printing for lower per-unit costs). Once everything’s uploaded and approved, your book goes live and becomes available for purchase worldwide. You’ll receive your author copies, and we’ll send you links to your live book listings.
After publication, the real work begins: getting your book in front of readers. Our marketing team develops a customized strategy based on your genre and audience. This includes setting up your Amazon Author Central profile with your bio and photo, creating social media content and graphics you can use for promotion, planning launch campaigns, and identifying promotional opportunities like BookBub deals or genre-specific newsletters. We help you get your book into Irish bookstores and libraries through proper distribution channels, and we can arrange print copies for local events or book signings. Distribution-wise, your book will be available through Amazon (globally), Irish online retailers, and potentially physical bookstores if you choose expanded distribution through IngramSpark. We’ll also guide you through building your author platform: setting up a website, growing your email list, and connecting with readers through social media or book clubs.
