Literature & Fiction - Genre Fiction - Family Life
You’ve got a book inside you, but finding the time or skill to actually write it is another story. That’s exactly what our ghostwriters are here for. At Ireland Publishing House, we take your ideas, experiences, and knowledge and turn them into a properly written manuscript. Whether it’s a memoir, business book, fiction, or self-help guide, we work with you through interviews and conversations to capture your voice and get your story down on paper. You stay involved throughout, approving chapters as we go. The book comes out in your voice, your name goes on the cover, and you own everything.
Turning your ideas into a book is a journey we take together, step by step.
We start with a proper chat about your book. What’s the story you want to tell? Who are you writing it for? If it’s a memoir, we’ll ask about the key moments in your life and what made them significant. If it’s a business book, we’ll talk about your expertise and what you want readers to learn. For fiction, we’ll discuss your characters, plot, and the kind of story you’re hoping to create. This first conversation usually takes an hour or so because we genuinely need to understand what you’re trying to achieve. It’s also your chance to get a feel for working with us, you’ll be spending months on this project together, so it matters that you’re comfortable. No pressure, just an honest discussion about your book and whether we’re the right people to write it.
After our initial conversation, we’ll create a detailed outline for your book based on everything you’ve told us. For non-fiction, this means organising your ideas into chapters that make sense and build logically. For memoirs, we structure your life story into a narrative that keeps readers engaged. For fiction, we map out your plot, character development, and major scenes. You’ll get this outline to review, does it feel right? Have we missed anything important? Is the structure working? We’ll revise it based on your feedback until you’re happy with the direction. This outline becomes the roadmap for your entire book, so it’s worth getting it right before we start writing properly. A solid structure now saves a lot of rewriting later.
Once you’ve approved the outline, we’ll create a realistic timeline for finishing your manuscript. How long it takes depends on your book’s length and how available you are for follow-up chats or interviews. We’ll map out when you can expect each section, how long you’ll have to review it, and when the complete manuscript will be ready. Most ghostwriting projects take three to six months, though it varies. We’re upfront about timelines because nobody likes being kept in the dark. If you’ve got a specific deadline, maybe you need the book finished for a launch event or speaking tour, tell us and we’ll work backwards to see if it’s realistic. If it’s not, we’ll say so rather than overpromise and disappoint you later.
Now we actually start writing. Based on the approved outline, we’ll write the first chapter of your book. This first chapter is really important because it sets the voice and style for everything that follows. Does it sound like you? Is the tone right? Are we telling the story the way you imagined? You’ll review this section carefully and tell us what’s working and what isn’t. Maybe it’s too formal, or maybe we need more personal anecdotes. Whatever it is, we’ll adjust based on your feedback.
After you approve the first chapter, we continue writing the rest of your book in manageable sections. You’ll receive chapter by chapter drafts, so you can review as we go rather than waiting months to see the whole thing. This staged approach keeps you involved and means we can course-correct if needed. If something’s not quite right in one chapter, we fix it before moving on. We might schedule more conversations to clarify details, gather additional stories, or dig deeper into certain sections. It’s a proper collaboration, nothing gets written without checking in with you first. By the time we reach the final chapter, you’ve already seen and approved most of the book, so there shouldn’t be any nasty surprises.
Once all the chapters are written and you’ve approved everything, we do a final proofread of the complete manuscript. We read it cover to cover, checking for consistency, timeline accuracy, repetitive phrases, and any remaining typos or errors. We make sure the chapters flow properly and the whole narrative hangs together. After this final polish, you get the complete, publication-ready manuscript. It’s entirely yours, to publish, edit further, or do whatever you want with. Our job’s done at this point. You’ve got a professionally written book with your name on it, and we step back completely. The manuscript belongs to you, and nobody needs to know we were involved unless you choose to tell them.

When you hire a professional team for ghostwriting service, you expect to sign a confidentiality agreement that legally guarantees your privacy and our company promises you that agreement. Your name goes on the cover as the sole author. We take no writing credit, no royalties, and no public acknowledgement whatsoever. Once the manuscript is complete and paid for, it’s 100% yours, we have no claim to it. You own the copyright, you control how it’s published, and you keep all the earnings. Nobody will ever know you used a ghostwriter unless you choose to tell them. This is a legal contract that protects your authorship completely.
Ghostwriting costs vary widely across Ireland because every project is different and every company sets their own rates. A 40,000-word business book requires far less work than a 90,000-word memoir with complex timelines, so pricing reflects that difference. Some ghostwriters charge per word, others per project, and rates depend on the writer’s experience, the research involved, and how much collaboration is needed. Fiction, non-fiction, and academic writing all come with different price points too.
The truth is, we can’t give you an accurate price without understanding your specific project first. What kind of book are you writing? How long will it be? Do you have detailed notes already, or will we be starting from scratch? How much input and revision do you want along the way? These factors completely change the cost.
During your free consultation, we’ll discuss your book in detail.
We will give you transparent pricing based on what your project actually needs.
No vague estimates or hidden fees, just honest pricing for your specific book.
